Diani Beach
Afro Chic Hotel lies on the North side of Diani Beach and is a large modern house set into lush gardens a stone’s throw from the beach.
The hotel’s main guest area is a small reception with an indoor lounge and dining area. The focal point of the hotel is the terrace from which beautiful views over the swimming pool and lawns can be enjoyed, this is a great place to sit and relax as the coconut palms sway in the breeze. Just beyond the lawns is the beach and warm Indian ocean waters.
Activities at Diani Beach are nearly endless and the hotel ensures that only licensed operators are used for outside activities. These include snorkeling, diving and golf and many others. There is an in-house spa that offers many therapies and massages.
Deluxe Rooms
There are just eight deluxe rooms at Afro Chic which makes the hotel both private and quite exclusive. Five of these rooms are sea facing while the remaining three look out over the lush gardens.
The rooms have been decorated in Swahili styles with clean tiled floors that are strewn with carpets and various other locally made tapestries. Each room has it’s own balcony and the garden facing one’s are quite small.
The en-suite bathrooms are tiled with a single vanity basin, toilet and walk in shower.
This is an ideal honeymoon location either before or after going on safari and is a wonderful place to relax in quiet and peaceful surroundings.
