Nestled on the slopes of the Oloololo Escarpment and overlooking the Mara Triangle, Angama Mobile Safari Camp is a sole use luxury experience in the heart of a wildlife haven. Close to several river crossing points the camp maintains an air of exclusivity while still being close to the migration action.

The design of each tent maximizes cross flow ventilation as well as allowing as much light into the tent as possible. The locations of the camp changes and each site is completely private and well suited to the reputation of simplicity and isolation.

Guests can enjoy their own private vehicle and guide for the duration of their stay ensuring complete relaxation and choosing when to do activities. The fitness center, swimming pool, shop and photographic studio at Angama Mara are all available to guests at any stage.

Safari Tents

Uniquely designed with simplicity each tent is over 350 square feet of simple luxury. The design ensures airflow for the warmer months and the canvas sides open to reveal the bush at any time of the day.

Children of all ages are welcome however the camp is not fenced so care must be taken at dusk and after darkness has fallen. Each tent has a super king extra length double or twin bed. The en-suite bathroom has vanity basins, toilet and bucket shower.

For guests that are adventurous there is the opportunity to engage in cultural visits, hot air ballooning and in-tent spa treatments.

How to get there

Fly In

Fly in to Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport with Egypt Air, Swiss Air, Lufthansa, KLM, Turkish Airlines, Emirates or Qatar Airways.

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met by your safari representative who will drive you to Wilson Airport and assist you onto a light aircraft for your flight to Serena airstrip. It is a further 60 minute game drive to the camp.

Private charters of helicopters or airplanes is also possible, get in touch with us for your personal aviation requirements.
