&Beyond Kleins Camp is located in an exclusive and remote corner of the game-rich Serengeti National Park. This is a 10 000 hectare wildlife concession leased from Maasai landlords and presents the ultimate in African safari experiences.
Perched quite magnificently on the edge of the Kuka Hills, &Beyond Klein’s Camp is just ten intimate cottages made of local stone and Makuti thatch. With rich wooden floors and classic interiors, each cottage has an en suite bathroom and private deck where guests can enjoy incredible views down onto the valley floor. There is a huge diversity of wildlife in the area that includes large Elephant herds which can be viewed from almost any vantage point in the camp.
&Beyond Kleins Camp has a large, beautifully furnished bar and lounge area with an open fireplace. An inviting swimming pool is tucked into the hillside and the safari shop features locally-made Maasai crafts.
Night drives and walking safaris in the private concession present the unique opportunity to explore the nocturnal world of the predators and get an intimate glimpse into the smaller details of the African bush. The camp overlooks a wooded hillside, rolling grasslands, lush marshes and forested river banks of the Serengeti. Kenya’s renowned Masai Mara Game Reserve is directly to the North. Klein’s Camp is one of the most strategically located camps to offer guests a staggering array of experiences.
The valley often has huge herds of Wildebeest and Zebra migrating through each year. While the Great Migration is an annual highlight, guests are assured of excellent year-round Lion, Leopard and Cheetah sightings. Huge herds of Buffalo and breeding herds of Elephant are all resident and bird watching in the seasonal marshlands is exceptionally rewarding.
