Bumi Hills
Lake Kariba
Bumi Hills Safari Lodge is perched on a range of remote, low hills in one of Zimbabwe’s most stunning wilderness locations. The lodge is completely enthralling with the Zambezi escarpment as its backdrop and panoramic views overlooking the shimmering waters of Lake Kariba below. The shoreline of Lake Kariba is rich with wildlife as well as a fantastic diversity of bird life. The lodge’s proximity to Matusadona allows for the wildlife to freely move between the national park and Bumi Hill’s private concession. This freedom creates endless game-viewing opportunities from the comfort of the lodge or on one of the many activities the lodge offers.
Each of the ten stylish suites boasts spectacular views over the lake and the surrounding landscapes. The area allows for guests to truly immerse themselves in the experience of the location and the diversity of wildlife the area has to offer. Gazing out from the infinity pool as it disappears into the horizon at sunset or enjoying a private dinner on the deck with superb sunset displays each evening.
Bumi Hills has its own 2-bed roomed private villa, Baobab Villa, complete with its own living room bar and indoor and outdoor dining decks. The villa is replete with a private butler, safari guide and vehicle. Your guide and vehicle are available to you at any time allowing you to make up your safari itinerary as it pleases you.
With the lake as your playground, spend your days cruising on the water or walking the surrounding bush on a fascinating walking safari. Venture deeper into the bush in search of fossilized dinosaur footprints or go on an enthralling game drive in search of the resident lions.
