Camp Moremi
Moremi Game Reserve
Camp Moremi has over the years gained a reputation for delivering the perfect African safari experience. Having undergone a complete rebuild in 2018 it has been styled as a contemporary luxury safari lodge. Located within the Moremi Game Reserve it benefits from both land and water based activities.
The camps guest areas include a sunken bar that has been beautifully built around a termite mound and Ebony tree. The spacious lounge has been tastefully decorated for comfort and relaxation. A library and private deck lead off from the lounge with great views over the grounds and the lagoon. The elevated dining area has been connected to the fireplace with a wooden board walk and is a great place for pre-dinner drinks and sunsets.
Accommodation
Twelve spacious tented suites under thatch also include one family room and can accommodate a maximum of twenty-four guests. The family room has two separate bedrooms and bathrooms which connect via an inter leading door. The re-build saw the rooms gain in size and a larger bathroom with twin vanity basins and showers. Private decks have excellent views over the savanna plains of the Moremi Game Reserve. The decor creates a warm atmosphere within each room that is in harmony with it’s environment.
Activities include a choice of morning and afternoon game drives through the varied habitats of this area. Game viewing here is nothing short of spectacular with Elephant, Buffalo, Lion, Leopard and Hyena all in abundance. Head out on a boat with your guide and explore the clear green channels of the Okavango and enjoy sun-downers on the way back to camp.
