Chobe Safari Lodge is situated in Kasane on the banks of the Chobe River and shares a border with Chobe National Park. The lodge overlooks Sedudu Island, home to large herds of elephant, buffalo and hippo. Take a sunset cruise and watch as elephants swim from Chobe National Park onto the island. Sit on the bar deck and look into Namibia as the sun sets over the river. Chobe Safari Lodge offers an excellent getaway location to Chobe, Victoria Falls or Caprivi in Namibia.

Description

Rooms at Chobe Safari Lodge are luxuriously appointed and situated in unique surroundings. The grounds themselves are a game walk all on their own! Vervet monkeys, warthog and many species of indigenous birds call the area their home – be cautious to keep your room doors closed in case some come to visit uninvited.

Along with many species of big game, Chobe National Park boasts the largest concentration of elephant in Africa. Game drives depart early each morning with elephant, buffalo and lion just some of the Big 5 that can be seen. Sunset boat cruises, Victoria Falls day trips, fishing expeditions and scenic flights are all available from the lodge.

Appealing African art is available in the small town of Kasane, a 10 minute walk from Chobe Safari Lodge. The walk is cultural excursion into the daily lives of the local people.

The lodge restaurant offers excellent cuisine and the bar deck offers some of the best sunsets in all of Africa.

How to Get There

From South Africa there are daily flights to Maun where a light aircraft will fly you to Kasane. From Livingstone in Zambia a road transfer is possible or a light aircraft.
