Entumoto Main Camp
Siana Conservancy – Megwarra Escarpment
A jointly owned camp between Swedish and Masai, Entumoto Main Camp is a permanent tented camp within the private Siana Conservancy which borders the Masai Mara National Reserve. Sited on the Megwarra Escarpment, the camp is hidden away in a depression where three valleys meet.
The camps main guest area and tents face West and views of the sunsets each evening are stunning. There is a comfortable lounge and dining area as well as WiFi if necessary. As the camp lies at the base of several valleys walks to and from rooms can be steep at times, ask us for a tent close to reception if you would like.
A swimming pool is a recent addition and is welcome during the warmer months. The camp is an easy 30 minute game drive to the gates of the Masai Mara National Reserve.
Safari Tents
The 9 tented rooms at Entumoto Main Camp are all built onto cement bases and raised off the ground. The tents are very well spaced out, some over a hundred meters apart, ensuring great privacy and a real sense of being in the bush. Tents have been designed with comfort and space in mind and they are bigger than most we have encountered.
There is ample space in each tent for comfortable double or twin beds, a couch and a private deck at the front with chairs to sit and enjoy the views. The en-suite bathrooms have twin vanity basins and a rain shower.
The family tents here are simply enormous and both rooms have an en-suite bathroom with a central connecting lounge area.
