With views over a tributary of the Gomoti River, Gomoti Plains Camp is surrounded by trees’ and Real Fan Palms providing welcome shade. The 100 000 hectare community run concession lies in the South East of the famous Okavango Delta and has abundant wildlife.
This area is well known for it’s diverse habitats and these ensure an equal diversity of species sightings from plains game and predators to elusive Leopard lurking in the deep shadows. Sightings of Cheetah, Rhino, Buffalo, Wild Dog, Lions and plains game are daily occurrences.
The main guest area at Gomoti Plains is open and welcoming with comfortable couches, a small library and very cozy bar area. The wide deck at the front overlooks a small plain and the tree line beyond. The sandy fire area off the deck is a wonderful place for early morning coffee or pre dinner sunset drinks.
Tent Suites
Gomoti Plains has 10 safari styled tented suites well spaced for privacy and all boasting excellent views for arm chair game viewing. Eight of the rooms can be made up as double or twin rooms while the remaining two are designed as family tents. The family tents share a bathroom and are connected by lounge area.
Access to the tents is via zip front and each is very spacious with ample room for the bed/s and a small private deck at the front with very comfortable seating.
En-suite bathrooms have twin vanity basins as well as an indoor and outside shower.
