Ilala Lodge is a very short walk from the Victoria Falls. The lodge is nestled amongst tall trees and looks over the National Park with stunning views of the spray that the water produces as it plunges into the Batoka Gorge. Another short walk up the road is the town itself with curio markets and activity centers. Banks, markets and scenery is all around you in this centrally located lodge.
Al fresco dining at the restaurant on the patio affords more beautiful views and Elephant and Buffalo wander past the front of the lodge regularly. A swimming pool with sun loungers and spacious lawns make this an ideal location for families.
Ilala Lodge has a variety of room choices for your budget or a family suite for you and the children all together. Standard Suites, Rooms as well as the Strathearn Suite with complete privacy and its own private swimming pool. Rooms on the upper tier look out over the landscape surrounding the Falls while the ground floor rooms all open out onto the lush green lawns.
With a multitude of activities to choose from at the lodge you will not have to go in search of your adrenaline activity. White water rafting, bungee jumping, game drives, kayak trips, scenic flights in helicopters or micro-lights. The lodge also offers its own sunset river cruises on the Zambezi river – this is a must do activity while you’re in Victoria Falls!
