Each well-equipped tent at Ilkeliani Camp is stylish with en suite bathroom. Tents are sited under a cluster of shady indigenous trees and you do feel that you are out in the wilderness. The interiors are spacious and comfortable featuring a front veranda with a day bed and canvas safari chairs. Home cooked meals combined with personal service contribute to an unforgettable safari experience.
Ilkeliani Camp offers guests a traditional safari experience with excellent facilities. Game viewing morning and afternoon in this area will be very rewarding. The Masai Mara is home to the Big 5 and these are often seen withing the first hour of a game drive.
Rise early and go on a walking safari or dawn game drive, returning to the camp in time for breakfast. A morning game drive with your guide exploring the Masai Mara National Reserve on half day with picnic breakfast. Return to the camp in time for lunch and rest in your tent or relax on the veranda.
Afternoon game drives return to camp in time for a shower, followed by a sun downer round the campfire, exchanging stories of the day with the other guests. Dinner by candlelight completes the day, after which an askari will guide you to your tent.
