Jabali Ridge enjoys an area of more than three million acres of land and is host to some of the largest elephant populations Africa has to offer visitors. Ruaha National Park is home to vast herds of buffalo as well as large lion prides that dominate the bush at night. Jabali Ridge sits on a rocky outcrop and has excellent views of the surrounding area.

Jabali Ridge has been carefully situated in amongst some rocky outcrops in the Northern area of Ruaha National Park. This area in particular is one of the best places for game viewing. During the dry seasons large numbers of wildlife congregate here in search of water. Ruaha is also well know for the high number of lion prides with sightings of large elephant herds a daily occurrence.

Game drives at Jabali Ridge are exhilarating, large prides of lions, elephant in abundance as well as several resident leopard that are quite relaxed around the game viewing vehicles. In the early evening its not uncommon to see lions begin their hunts and stalking herds of buffalo that watch their every move.

Guest Suites

Jabali Ridge has eight guest suites that are placed amongst the boulders of this rocky area and have a uniquely contemporary design. Each suite is open at each side to allow for excellent views of the surrounding bush. King size beds adorn each room with simple yet rustic furniture. A private deck has been built at the front of each suite for relaxing and game watching. The en suite bathrooms are spacious with beautiful finishes.

During the hotter seasons there is an infinity swimming pool to cool off and from the rim there are stunning views all the way to the horizon. A small spa is available offering a range of treatments.

How to Get There

Fly In

Fly into Dar es Salaam with Kenya Airways, Ethiopian Airlines or South African Airways.

On arrival you will be met by your safari representative and escorted to your light aircraft for the flight to Msembe Airstrip.

At Msembe you will be met by your guide and enjoy a 50 minute game drive to camp.

Should you arrive in Dar Es Salaam too late for your regional flight please get in touch with us for hotel bookings as well as your flight to Msembe Airstrip.
