Suites

Five spacious suites are offered at Kapama Karula. An ample 85 m² in size, these suites have indoor and outdoor showers, double vanity basins in the en-suite bathrooms. Standard in each suite are minibars with an extensive selection of wines and champagne. There are also telephones, overhead fans, air conditioners and gas-heated fireplaces in the suites. For connectivity and entertainment, there is Wi-Fi and an iPod docking station. Huge glass sliding doors open out onto the Klaserie River and magnificent bushveld views beyond.

Superior Suites

Kapama Karula has five superior suites, each exquisitely decorated and with generous private space. These suites measure 130 m² each, with an opulent en-suite bathroom featuring indoor and outdoor showers, double vanity basins, and a bath. Standard in each superior suite is a minibar stocked with a selection of fine wines and champagne. The superior suites are wrapped by glass sliding doors which enable seamless views over the Klaserie River. Each suite also has its own outside deck area, with a full-size heated swimming pool and sun loungers for relaxation.

Family suites

Two of the superior suites, each measuring 170 m², are purpose-built for families. These family suites have an open-plan living room, complete with fireplace, which flows into the master bedroom with its en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom also leads off the living room and can be accessed through an inter leading door or its own entrance. This children’s bedroom is also en suite and is equipped with a flat-screen TV, selection of movies and a Wii game console. All other amenities standard to the superior suites are included. Each family suite also has a private outside deck and a large swimming pool.

Kapama Karula Tents

For an experience that’s closer to nature and authentically African, Kapama Karula offers guests the opportunity to sleep in one of two traditional Meru tents. Secluded and with panoramic bush views, sleeping under canvas is an evocative experience. There’s no compromise to comfort though, and the tents have all the amenities of a luxury game lodge. En suite with his and hers basins, a bath and private outdoor shower. Relaxing on the private wooden deck gives a sense of a closer connection with nature and the magnificent surrounding environment.

Fly In

Fly in to Eastgate Airport with SA Airlink from O R Tambo Airport in Johannesburg or from Cape Town.

On arrival you will be met by your guide who will drive you to the camp.
