Khwai Bush Camp

Moremi Game Reserve

Situated on the Eastern edge of the famous Okavango Delta, Khwai Bush Camp lies on the border of the Moremi Game Reserve. This camp has a magical setting and is ideal for year-round wildlife encounters. The lodge is nestled under a forest of Sycamore Figs and Leadwood trees. The atmosphere of the camp is charming and exudes an allure of a old-world safari. The camp has two very spacious family units and a dedicated Cub Club for children, the lodge is particularly tailored towards welcoming families.

From enchanting forests filled with bird life, rolling grasslands to lush floodplains and a meandering lagoon, the varied ecosystems mean this is one of the most consistent areas for wildlife encounters year-round. Days can be spent floating through the shallow waters of the Delta in a traditional mokoro. Savor the utter tranquility, only broken by the call of a Fish Eagle.

Safari Chalets

Khwai Bush Camp consists of four standard and two-family chalets overlooking the Khwai River. During the siesta time guests can retreat to elegant rooms with either a double or twin bed configuration and spacious en suite bathroom. Private decks boast magnificent views of the river banks and birding here is excellent. This area is one of the richest game viewing areas in Botswana, from the comfort of an armchair the game will simply wander past your doorstep.

Morning, afternoon and night game drives in open safari vehicles coupled with professional guides ensure both varied and adrenaline filled days. Walking safaris are also possible in this area and the smaller creatures bring the bush alive with the complex ecosystems at work.
