Belmond Khwai River Lodge is located on the border of the Moremi Game Reserve and boasts fantastic scenery over the river and floodplains. This area of Khwai and the Moremi is well known for it’s excellent year round game viewing. Located within a community trust night drives, walking safari’s and off road game viewing is possible.
The quality of the lodge is incredible and sparing little expense decor is well thought out and guest amenities are down to the finest detail. The main guest area is elevated and includes a very comfortable lounge area with fireplace, bar and a small library.
Sunken into the main deck area is a very large swimming pool that has picture perfect views over the plains where there is constant action of animals and birds. Close to this is a smaller deck with a telescope for star gazing and is an excellent venue for a romantic private dinner.
The lodge also has a spa facility which offers massages, facials, manicures and pedicures including a couples treatment center.
The lodge main area and suites are all connected via walkways and to ensure privacy are set well apart. While this means it may be a decent walk from your room to the main lodge it is well worth the effort for the exclusive atmosphere of each room. Staff are welcoming and friendly and go out of their way to ensure each guests needs are attended to.

Luxuriously appointed, the 14 rooms and 1 suite are all raised on platforms and offer private decks with hammocks from which to appreciate the incredible scenery of this magical location.
