Kicheche Bush Camp
Olare Motorogi Conservancy
Kicheche Bush Camp lies within the quiet Olare Motorogi Conservancy on the border of the Masai Mara National Reserve. The camps focus is of course wildlife viewing and photography with excellent sightings that ensure many repeat visitors each year. Day trips to the National Reserve are possible at an additional cost during the Migration (July to October).
The camps location is ideal for guests that wish to avoid the crowds within the national reserve and still enjoy some of the finest wildlife viewing in the area. With over 12 000 hectares to explore over diverse landscapes the area offers a private safari with incredible game sightings.
The main guest area of the camp is simply furnished yet has a very homely feel to it with comfortable couches, a small shop and fantastic views. The staff are some of the very best we have encountered in safari camps and will go to any lengths to ensure you are happy.
Walking safaris can be arranged with a guide and armed scout that typically last 2-3 hours. Over-night fly camping is also possible walking to a small bush camp of dome tents with shower and toilet. Longer fly camping walks between Bush Camp and Valley Camp can also be arranged.
Luxury Tents
Kicheche Camps 6 luxury tents are set well apart ensuring great privacy and provide a deliciously isolated feeling to each individual tent. Each tent is very spacious with canvas walls that are rolled up each day giving an open and peaceful feeling to the area. At night the canvas walls are closed and the bedroom feels very cozy.
The en-suite bathrooms are separated by a canvas flap which opens to vanity basins, toilet and a bucket shower that is filled with piping hot water on your return from game drive.
