Kings Pool
Linyanti Swamps
Originally designed and built for Scandinavian royalty, Kings Pools is sumptuous luxury perched on the edge of the infamous Kings Pool lagoon and the Linyanti Swamps in the North of Botswana. Bordering Chobe National Park this is a dynamic wildlife corridor between Angola, Namibia, Zambia and Botswana.
As a completely solar powered camp your stay has a nearly zero impact on the surrounding environment with incredible bird life in the Mopane forests and lush swamps. Activities include day and night game drives, walking safaris and an underground hide at the water hole for fantastic close encounters and photography. Boat cruises provide a very different aspect to game viewing.
During the dry season this water is a magnet for Elephants and Buffalo and siesta time can be spent on your private deck reveling in unique arm chair game viewing.
The main guest area of the camp comprises expansive decks close to the waters edge with a lounge, library and communal dining areas. A swimming pool brings welcome relief during the heat of the day and a boma has been built for memorable dinners under the stars. Access is via Maun and is a 45 minute flight by light aircraft or private helicopter transfer.
