Description

Lemala Mara Mobile Tented Camp

Northern Serengeti

July to October. Closed November – May

Lemala Mara Mobile Tented Camp is based in the Northern Serengeti from July through to October to ensure guests experience the very best of the Great Migration. Characterized by vast savanna plains the Serengeti can be thick with Wildebeest and Zebra as they move in conjunction with the new grasses.

Situated close to the Mara River game drives are always action packed and with the many river crossing points there is some new action around every single corner. As the camp is a mobile one the area is un-fenced and completely open to wildlife that roam through regularly.

Safari tents are erected under a grove of trees’ in one of the best game viewing areas of the Northern Serengeti. Secluded enough to remain discreet the location provides uninterrupted behavior as the Wildebeest mass on the steep banks preparing for the mad dash to the opposite banks.

Safari Tents

The 12 safari tents of Mara Mobile are set up under the trees’ and all boast a beautiful vista over the plains. Each tent has two queen sized beds that are draped with mosquito nets and all can be made up to a triple and a family tent.

The en-suite bathrooms are spacious with vanity basin and traditional safari style bucket shower.

The camp is 100% solar powered yet there is WiFi available in the main guest area. Children are welcome, please inquire with us if they are very young.
