“Nanyukie” means “endless plains” in the local Masai language and Lemala Nanyukie in the parks central region has views out over the endless Serengeti plains. The camp is located in an area that is well known for it’s high concentration of big cats and the landscape of rolling hills suits their hunting tactics perfectly.

The main guest area is large with a comfortable lounge and bar area that leads out to a spacious deck and excellent views over the countryside. Communal meals are both indoors and outside with a swimming pool close by for refreshment during the day. Guided walks can be arranged with an armed scout.

The camp provides bush breakfasts and private lantern lit dinners under the stars for honeymoon couples with a campfire each evening to share the days safari stories. A spa is situated under the trees’ where pampered relaxation can be enjoyed. Between November and January the area is an ideal location to witness the Great Migration.

Luxury Tents

The 15 luxurious tents comprise 13 standard suites and one 2 bed-roomed suite designed for families on safari, it is connected by a covered private dining area. All the tents have been very well spaced to provide great privacy and five of the tents have an extra day bed so that it can be converted easily into a triple suite.

Each suite has a small lounge area, mini bar and tea or coffee station. The deck at the front of each has chairs and a private plunge pool. The en-suite bathrooms have double vanity basins, bath and both inside and outdoor showers.

How to Get There

Fly In

Fly in to Kilimanjaro International Airport with Ethiopian Airlines, Kenya Airways, KLM, Turkish Airlines, Emirates or Qatar Airways.

On your arrival you will be met by your safari representative who will assist you on to a light aircraft for your 1 hour flight to Seronera Airstrip. From the airstrip it’s a 1 hour game drive to camp.
