Lerai Safari Camp
Olerai Conservancy – Masai Mara
Closed 6 April – 31 May ’21
As the only permanent safari camp in the 5000 acre Olerai Conservancy, Lerai Safari Camp has been expertly located just North of the Serengeti and West of the Masai Mara National Reserve. The area literally swarms with wildlife and the diversity of sightings you will enjoy is remarkable.
Tucked into a small grove of Acacia trees’ the resident wildlife are well habituated to the camp and wander through regularly. The camp is also in the path of the annual migration making Lerai Safari Camp a good place to witness plains filled with Wildebeest, Zebra and Gazelle.
A small stream also attracts large herds of Elephant daily. The bar, lounge and dining area all overlook the seasonal stream and plains making it a great place to relax during the day and enjoy some “arm chair” game viewing. There is also complimentary access to iMacs here. The main guest area is very spacious and there is seating aplenty while you relax, wi-fi is also available in this area.
Safari Tents
Lerai Safari Camp has just 6 stylish and very well decorated tents. All the tents overlook the stream from a small deck at the front that has comfortable chairs. All the tents are very spacious and can be made up as doubles or twins. Armchairs inside, a small writing desk and closet for clothing.
The en-suite bathrooms have a small vanity basin, toilet and open shower. The front deck is great for bird watching.
The camp does not accept children under 7 years of age.
