Description

Linyanti Ebony

Linyanti Swamps

Linyanti Ebony Camp sits on the edge of the Linyanti Swamps and amongst discerning safari and wildlife travelers this area is one of Botswana’s most sought-after safari destinations. Located between the Okavango Delta and Chobe National Park, the Linyanti has a rich and diverse ecosystem that is fed by a permanent river flow. At the center of all this action is Linyanti Ebony.

Morning and afternoon game drives with the professional guides are amazing in being able to find so many different species in such a small area. Night drives are also possible and elusive Leopards stalk the area for sleeping troupes of baboons. Explore the bush on foot with morning walks. Afternoon game drives invariably stop for an obligatory sunset gin and tonic in a superb location to watch as the sun silently slips below the horizon. For something a little extraordinary, set out to the skies on a helicopter safari and take in the awe-inspiring waterways below.

Safari Tents

Linyanti Ebony offers three twin tents that sleep two and one more spacious family unit. The two-bedroom family tent has its own lounge area looking out over the wetlands and an en suite bathroom with a shower and roll-top bath. For large groups or families travelling together, Linyanti Ebony can be booked exclusively with a minimum of 8 people and is open all year round.

Another camp in this area is Linyanti Bush Camp, alternatively, Khwai Tented Camp, explore the difference. To be closer to Victoria Falls for day trips with the kids have a look at Elephant Valley Lodge.
