Linyanti Expeditions
Linyanti-Chobe Swamp System
Linyanti Expeditions follows the ethos that the only way to reconnect with your natural world is through walking safaris. Waking up with the crisp dawn air to the sound of birds, a warm cup of coffee, the anticipation of discoveries to be made. It’s the excitement of walking out into the wild bush, the open plains, on foot, in search of new and exciting interactions.
The Linyanti Expeditions walking safaris explore the wildest and most remote parts of the Linyanti-Chobe swamp systems. Here is the perfect way to learn about the intricacies of the ecosystems at work that make this area so unique. Guides will point out the smallest creatures, bring you face-to-face with Elephant, Buffalo, Giraffe and the Red Lechwe. Your senses are heightened with every sound and rustle of the leaves. Mokoro excursions on the waters and game drives are also on offer to experience different perspectives of this beautiful land.
The main area has two canvas-covered areas, a dining area with an exposed kitchen and an open lounge. As with most of the African Bush Camps the campfire is at the center, drawing guests to enjoy the authentic experience of the African bush outside.
Safari Tents
With only 6 tents, the camp has an intimate atmosphere and ensures a personalized service for each guest. Each tent is firmly rooted on the ground, giving that extra level of connection to nature. Each room has en-suite bathrooms with flush toilets and al fresco bucket showers. Each room has a “star suite” and a gazebo extension where beds can be moved at night to give the experience of sleeping beneath a blanket of glimmering stars.
