Description

Little Chem Chem

Tarangire National Park Concession

Little Chem Chem is affectionately known as the sunrise camp. The camp lies on the eastern side of the concession. This intimate camp offers five beautifully decorated vintage tents. Each tent boasts a large bedroom with three having king-size beds and two with twin beds. A rocking chair and study desk, vanity area with dressing room and an en suite bathroom with shower and flushing toilet.

Little Chem Chem embraces the old Out-of-Africa theme with simple yet luxurious finishes and amenities. Each tent also has its own private fire pit,  a perfect location to sit after the evening meal with a brandy in hand, let the flames seduce you while the sounds of an African night come to life around to you.

Luxury Vintage Tent | Family

This two-bedroom canvas family tent is perfect for families of up to 2 adults and 3 children. Luxuriously fitted with a large king size bed in the main bedroom, the children’s room offers 2 twin beds. Each room has its own en-suite shower with flushing toilet. Little Chem Chem welcomes children from 8 years and older.

The staff will create unforgettable memories for your children by teaching bush skills from Masai warriors, how to make a fire, use a bow and arrow, throw a spear and the traditions of the Masai people. A visit to local schools and villages will expose them to the differences in their cultures. Children can build a soccer ball made from recycled material, follow wildlife tracks and decorate safari-themed cupcakes.
