Londolozi Pioneer Camp

Londolozi Pioneer Camp is steeped in the history of Londolozi Private Game Reserve. The camp has been designed to combine a colonial style with contemporary African culture. The main guest area of Pioneer Camp is spacious and open. There is a kitchen, dining area and sitting room. This area affords guests of magnificent views of the African bush.

Londolozi has often been described as the original safari destination. Pioneer Camp is the most secluded of all the camps and has a reputation of absolute excellence.

Accommodation available at Pioneer Camp comprises three suites and three river front chalets. The camp accommodates a maximum of twelve guests allowing for both privacy and intimacy. Guest suites are spacious and open with a private deck from which to enjoy the sights and sounds of Africa.

En suite bathrooms have both indoor and outside showers, double vanity basins and luxurious finishes. A romantic “sala” – or open area, graces each deck. A perfect place for an afternoon nap while bird watching or reading.

Safari activities at Londolozi are both morning and afternoon game drives on the 35 000 acre reserve. Big Five sightings here include Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and Hippo. Private bush dinners, bush breakfasts and cultural visits are must do experiences while staying here.

Having visited Londolozi several times over the years we are always incredibly impressed. Their attention to detail, seamless service and friendly staff ensure a really pleasurable stay. The privacy of each suite, the romantic sala, showers and location are ideal for your honeymoon plans.
