Description
Luangwa Safari House
South Luangwa National Park
The house sleeps 8 guests at $4120-00 per night.
Luangwa Safari House is located in the Game Management Area adjacent to the National Park. The Chindeni Hills form a picturesque background to this four bed-roomed house as it overlooks a lagoon. The house can only be booked by a single group at any one time so your privacy is assured. This is an ideal safari retreat for groups of friends or an extended family with children.
Large Teak doors at the back of the house form the main entrance and walking in you’re very aware of the spaciousness of the lounge and dining areas. Several couches and chairs form the main area and have absolutely beautiful views over the deck to the lagoon. This is a very popular water source for Elephant, Puku, Buffalo and many other species. Armchair game viewing at it’s best! A small swimming pool is a great place for the kids to cool off and the viewing hide brings the Elephants at the waterhole very close.
Accommodation
The four bedrooms at Luangwa Safari House are off the main lounge area, two on the ground floor and two upstairs that are accessed by dual staircases against the wall. Each room is spacious and has it’s own private deck that looks out over the bush and river.
The downstairs rooms have simple roll down blinds that are lowered at night and each room can be made up as a twin for children or into doubles. Mosquito nets are lowered each evening by the staff and the en-suite bathrooms are very spacious with twin vanity basins and shower. One of the rooms has a bath.
Children over 7 are welcome and if you are travelling with children under 16, your second child stays free.
