Description

Magnificent Three- 14 Nights

The Magnificent Three safari begins with your arrival in Lusaka. There is the option of a four hour road transfer or a private charter to your first camp.

Spend 3 nights at exquisite Musekese Camp surrounded by spectacular scenery. We will spend the next 3 at Kaing’U Camp, on the banks of the Kafue River. Game viewing activities here include game drives, bush walks and boat safaris. Next you will head to South Luangwa National Park, where you can explore the game-rich Mfuwe area. We will enjoy morning and afternoon game drives, as well as night drives. These allow a unique opportunity to view nocturnal animals.

South Luangwa

The next part of the trip takes you to South Luangwa National Park. Here you will first stay at Kafunta River Lodge, in the game-rich Mfuwe area. Game viewing activities at Kafunta River Lodge include game drives in open vehicles and unique night drives.

The central location of Kafunta River Lodge allows us to explore vast areas of South Luangwa National Park. While at the lodge you can relax in the privacy of your chalet or on your viewing deck. Alternatively, cool off in the infinity pool while keeping an eye on the game drinking at the waterhole. The lodge also features the only natural hot spring tub in Mfuwe, a wellness spa and a gym.

After Kafunta you will have the choice of heading to either of our bush camps. At these rustic camps, you will spend a few days immersed in the beauty of the African wilderness. Three Rivers Camp is located between the Luangwa River and a pristine lagoon teeming with wildlife. This tented camp has en-suite bathrooms and star-gazing platforms where you can spend the night if you wish. Island Bush Camp features rustic accommodation built from sustainable materials. Its stilted chalets also provide safety from wild animals while providing an unlimited view of the Luangwa River.

Lower Zambezi
