Mihingo Lodge in Mburo National Park is a warm family owned lodge. Perched on a rocky outcrop views over the national park are expansive and game viewing can be done from the pool.The lodge has been designed to blend in with her surroundings while ensuring a luxurious stay for guests.
An infinity swimming pool overlooks the valley and a waterhole where Impala, Buffalo, Eland, Warthog and Bushbuck are regular visitors. Morning and afternoon game drives into the park are possible and game sightings are usually excellent. While Leopard are known to be elusive Mburo National Park is one place where they are seen often.
Horse safaris, mountain biking, walking safaris, cultural visits, boat trips and a spa are just some of the activities that are available for guests at Mihingo Lodge. The restaurant at the lodge offers delicious meals with ingredients grown in their own vegetable garden.
With just twelve luxury tented rooms the lodge offers peace and sublime tranquility for guests. Each room is nestled into the forest and has views looking down to the waterhole. All rooms have en suite bathrooms. The salt lick attracts Impala and Bushbuck and guests are able to sit on their deck while they wander past.
With a wide variety of activities and plenty of opportunity for birding as well as wildlife sightings the lodge is perfectly situated to ensure an exciting safari. The lodge has several ongoing community and conservation projects for guests to get involved with and is committed to renewable energy with their solar system.
