Mukambi Safari Lodge
Kafue National Park
Open all year
Located in the central region of Kafue National Park and a comfortable 3 hour drive from Lusaka, Mukambi Safari Lodge is an ideal beginning to explore this vast wildlife wilderness. Lying on the banks of the Kafue River the lodge has beautiful views out over the landscape.
The sister camps, Busanga Plains Camp and Fig Tree Bush Camp, are both worth making time to visit as they present vastly different perspectives on the park. At over 22 000 square kilometers, Kafue National Park is huge to say the least and at least 7 to 10 days is recommended to explore the diversity.
The main guest area at Mukambi is a large thatched structure comprising several levels and an infinity swimming pool that all look out over the Kafue River. This area, or your private deck, is a great place to relax between activities. The bar is well stocked and the pool a very inviting place to cool off.
