Description
Naona Moru Camp
Moru Kopjes – Central Serengeti
Located between three kopjes lies the elegant and luxurious Naona Moru Camp in the Central Serengeti of Tanzania. The camp is built slightly elevated from the surrounding landscape and enjoys views out over the plains of the Serengeti towards the infamous Seronera area of the park.
The landscape is dotted with rocky outcrops called “kopjes” which give way to the endless plains the Serengeti is so famous for. Game viewing is excellent most of the year but with the annual Great Migration the plains are filled to capacity with Wildebeest, Zebra and Gazelle that follow the rains and new grass growth.
Naona Moru offers guests both morning and afternoon game drives, walking safaris and the opportunity to do a balloon safari over the Serengeti. Bush meals are a regular occurrence for breakfast, picnics or dinner. Children from 5 years and older are welcome.
The camp is wheelchair friendly and has a combination of both solar and generator power.
Tented Suites
With just 10 tented suites, one honeymoon suite and a family suite the camp combines luxurious accommodation with excellent cuisine and service. Each suite has been elegantly designed with spacious interiors and a warm East African atmosphere.
The family suite can be adapted to accommodate up to three children and parents. The front of each suite has a small private decking area that has comfortable chairs and excellent views.
