Located within the Timbavati Game Reserve, Ngala Private Game Reserve is home to the Ngala Treehouse. The Treehouse is 5 kilometers from &Beyond Ngala Tented Camp and the concession shares an open border with the famous Kruger National Park of South Africa. This area hosts a great diversity of wildlife including the Big Five and has more large mammal species than any other game reserve in South Africa.
To really experience Africa a romantic night under the stars is probably the very best way. Listening to the sounds of Nightjars, Hyena whooping or Lions roaring out to call their territory is the most elemental and incredible sensation. Completely safe on this beautiful structure there are two sleeping levels with all the amenities.
The Treehouse
The Treehouse is an elevated sleeping structure allowing you sleep out under the stars in a completely safe environment. Your guide will escort you here with plenty of time to get the most from this once in a lifetime night in Africa. The Treehouse is completely solar powered and still manages to provide a luxurious wilderness experience.
Ngala Treehouse is surrounded by verdant bush, surrounded by a stout fence, electric wires and there is a two-way radio – if you need more wine or snacks! The treehouse has two sleeping areas, one with a king sized bed and the top deck for your night under the stars in Africa. Your dinner is waiting for you as you arrive so once your guide leaves all there is to do is enjoy one of the most memorable nights in your life.
You will be surrounded by every comfort you may have at home and probably more. A fully stocked bar and a choice of breakfast or evening snacks. The Ngala Treehouse is an overnight wilderness experience that can be combined with your stay at either Ngala Tented Camp or Ngala Safari Lodge.
