Ngoma Safari Lodge
Chobe National Park
Ngoma Safari Lodge is in the northern region of Chobe within the forest reserve and overlooking the Chobe River. This small luxurious lodge offers an exceptional Africa experience for game drives and wildlife viewing or relaxing around the swimming pool. The Chobe Flood plain, Forest Reserve and National Park is called the Land of Giants. This is due to the area having the highest Elephant population in all of Africa.
This area of the Chobe enclave is much quieter and as such game drives, boat cruises and walking safaris reveal much diversity in animal species and a truly exclusive experience. Embarking on an early afternoon boat cruise with some snacks and drinks is the best way to enjoy this area. While you may share the river with other craft, to watch a herd of Elephant swim across a channel, with babies in tow, is an incredible experience you will not forget soon.
The eight rooms have either twin or king-size beds and are well equipped with both internal and external living areas. The en suite bathrooms have a bath as well as inside and outside showers. An overhead fan, air-conditioners, minibars and tea and coffee-making facilities. Rooms are luxuriously appointed ensuring absolute bliss for guests.
Ngoma Lodge is perched on Buffalo ridge affording panoramic views over the Chobe River. The central area has a reception, guest sitting room and dining and bar area. There is a swimming pool with a sundeck and a viewing platform. The lodge has been built with natural materials which blend seamlessly into her surroundings.
A well-positioned viewing deck provides a perfect setting from which to enjoy a beautifully prepared evening meal with views over a floodlit waterhole frequented by Elephants, Zebra, Antelope and other game.
