On the North Eastern tip of Zanzibar island lies the most pristine beach on the entire island and Nungwi Dreams. The hotel faces the ocean completely and has direct access from some of the rooms onto the beach. Designed and decorated to combine the local Swahili and Arabic influences the hotel is both relaxed and chic.

The hotel is within walking distance of several very popular attractions including Nungwi Mnarani Aquarium, the Sea Turtle Conservation Pond and the East Africa Dive Center. There is a complimentary shuttle service to the nearby water sports center in Kendwa. Other activities include Prison Island and the Jozani Forest where guests can see Red Colobus Monkeys and 40 varieties of birds and butterflies.

The hotel features a gym, rooftop bar, pool bar and infinity swimming pool. Activities at the hotel are numerous and guests can be as active or as lazy as they please. Kite surfing, kayaking, diving and simply relaxing by the swimming pool with endless views over the ocean.

No visit to Zanzibar is complete without a Spice Tour and a day and evening spent exploring the fascinating history of Stone Town. Deep sea fishing charters can be arranged.

Accommodation

Nungwi Dreams consists of 13 sea view rooms, 13 standard rooms, 6 beach front rooms and the 4 bedroomed Presidential Villa. Some of these rooms have a private balcony or terrace, air conditioning, a mini bar on request, LED smart TV as well as international adapters.

Children of all ages are welcome at the hotel. High speed internet access is available from almost anywhere in the hotel and the grounds.

How to get there

Fly In

Fly in to Zanzibar and Abeid Amani Karume International Airport with Emirates Airlines, KLM or Turkish Airlines.

On arrival you will be met by your safari representative who will assist you into your private transfer vehicle for the 68 kilometer or 42 mile journey to the resort.

Helicopter transfers are possible.
