Description

Puku Ridge

South Luangwa National Park

Open April to November

Lying in one of the most beautiful parks in Zambia, Puku Ridge has recently been up-graded. The design and decor reflect earthy tones that blend each suite into their surroundings. Game drive vehicles are now much more comfortable and the hide in front of the camp presents opportunities for unique photography.

Situated away from the busier Northern section of the park, Puku Ridge has access to the remote Southern areas that are mostly undisturbed. The camp overlooks the wide Kakumbi floodplain that is often teeming with wildlife and merely being in camp is a spectacle all on it’s own.

The main guest area at Puku Ridge is one of simplicity and style. Elegant furnishings complete a sophisticated yet warmth that fits in perfectly to the bush. The lounge area is spacious and meals are often al fresco during the warmer evenings. There is a telescope and on clear nights your guide will assist you with star gazing.

Bush Suites

Each of the 8 suites at Puku Ridge is a luxurious safari experience. King size beds with an overhead fan and air conditioning keep the suites cool. The en-suite bathrooms have dual basins as well as an indoor and outside shower. A huge bathtub overlooks the bush.

The veranda at each suite has several levels for seating, a private plunge pool and a unique star bed on the highest area.

Complimentary WiFi is also available. Puku Ridge does not accept children under 12 year.
