Full Itinerary

DAYS 1 – 4 : Thorntree River Lodge

At Thorntree River Lodge the wooden decking floats on the edge of the river, creating a seamless feel between river and land. Take to the water for stunning sunset cruises, while back on land you can enjoy wildlife viewing within the National Park. Lying in close proximity to Victoria Falls, the lodge is perfectly positioned for you to enjoy the cascading spectacle nearby or to partake in one of the many activities on offer.

DAYS 4 – 7 : Somalisa Camp

Next, you’ll head to a private concession in the heart of Hwange National Park – known as ‘the land of the giants’ for its big elephant herds. Somalisa is famous for its up-close encounters with elephants, which have become habituated to drinking from the ‘elephant pool’ in front of camp, so it goes without saying that your time here will be bursting with wildlife experiences.

DAYS 7 – 10 : Bumi Hills Safari Lodge

Bumi Hills Safari Lodge is perched on the hills above Lake Kariba and taking centre stage at the lodge is the beautiful infinity pool that seems to blend endlessly into the lake’s horizon. This scenic lodge is the perfect place to relax and enjoy sundowners after a day spent on game drives and bush walks.
