Description
Roving Bushtops
Serengeti National Park
Roving Bushtops were designed and built to be a unique and innovative way to discover new and exhilarating experiences for discerning safari clients. Once each “rover” has been placed in location the unit folds out into a luxurious 1000 square foot safari tent with king size bed (or three single beds), bath, toilet and wrap around deck with external tub.
Each of these tents is powered with solar energy providing lighting, hot water and recharging facilities. A small fridge contains essential beverages for morning tea or sun-downer drinks. Fresh water is stored in pressurized tanks and the water heated in a solar heat exchanger.
The camps main base is in the Central Serengeti, Seronera Valley, and provides easy access to excellent year round game viewing. The Great Migration arrives at the camp in June as they head North and November as they begin returning South. Between December and April Roving Bushtops follows the herds South to Kusini for 4 months for guests to witness the calving season.
The main dining tent offers à la carte cuisine with a quality that will astound you for the location.
Tents
Each of Roving Bushtops luxury tents features over 1000 square feet of living space and the same area in a wrap around deck with sunken hot tub and small area for private dinners on your deck. To say the tents are luxurious is an under-statement. Huge beds and ample living space rooms with an en-suite bathroom replete with bath, vanity basins and a shower.
Family tents are created with two “rovers” close to one another. The camps are completely un-fenced creating a lifetime safari experience in pristine locations.
