Sanctuary Kichakani Serengeti Camp offers year round migration viewing as it is continuously follows the migration as it moves around the Serengeti. The sight of six million hooves crossing the open plains is an incredible spectacle! More than 200,000 Zebra, 300,000 Thomson’s Gazelle and over a million Wildebeest are constantly moving in search of fresh grazing.
Spacious and comfortable communal guest areas have a lounge area perfect for afternoon relaxation. A lounge bar is where the pre-dinner drinks are served. All of the main areas provide endless views of the surrounding scenery. The trees provide welcome shade during the heat of the day. Comfortable sofa spots are also set up around the camp. Electricity supply is a combination of silent packed generator and battery system.
Accommodation
Kichakani Serengeti Camp has elevated what we know as a tented camping experience. The tents offer luxury in traditional tents that are not found anywhere else in the Serengeti. This small and intimate camp has just 10 luxury safari tents, all with en-suite bathrooms with indoor bucket showers. King size beds with tasteful decor and amenities deliver a real African safari sensation. All the tents have hairdryers, mosquito nets and in-room safes. A small deck area in front of each tent is ideal for relaxed game viewing.
