Segera Retreat
Laikipia
Segera Retreat is set in the heart of Laikipia, one of Kenya’s most fantastic safari locations. Conservationist Jochen Zeitz has created an exclusive destination for guests to enjoy some fun and adventure. Spiritual reflection and peace have been combined with absolute luxury, excellent service and generous all-inclusive offerings. The ethos has been to give guests privacy in a wild Kenyan home away from home.
Situated between Mount Kenya to the East and the Great Rift Valley to the West, a diverse environment, Segera’s plains offer an exquisite venue for the perfect romantic escape or family holiday.
The NAY PALAD Bird Nest
After your game drive or bush walk you’re brought to the Bird Nest just before sunset. Lit up with lanterns, champagne and delicious cuisine the open-air nest has an inviting bed either on the roof or within the shelter of the first floor. From the roof of the Bird’s Nest you will be treated to a magical African sunset. Dine on a picnic-style dinner and fall asleep under the sparkling African sky. The next morning, a picnic breakfast delivery is enjoyed while watching Elephants, Giraffe and other wildlife gathering at the river.
With one fully-equipped bathroom, the Bird Nest is designed to sleep two guests, however a cosy family would also be quite comfortable.
Segera Retreat has one Family Room which can accommodate a family of four.
Segera House can accommodate a family of six in three bedrooms with en suite bathrooms.
Villa Segera can accommodate a family of four in two bedrooms both en-suite.
Segera Farm House can accommodate a family of six in three bedrooms and has three bathrooms.
