Serengeti Migration Camp
Northern Serengeti National Park
Located on the famous Grumeti River, Serengeti Migration Camp embodies the East African tented camp experience. A herd of resident Hippo laze their days below your tent and birding from your deck is absolutely fantastic. Hidden into a rocky hillside the camp lies at the starting point of the Migration action.
The camps main guest and lounge area are a rustic affair but stylishly decorated and is completely open to the front allowing the breeze in and affording views over the river and plains. Below the lounge area is a swimming pool surrounded by decking as well as a fire area from which to enjoy a cocktail and enjoy the stunning sunsets.
Next to the swimming pool is the dining area where guests eat at individual tables either inside or out under the stars. Umbrella’s shade the area during the day.
Luxury Tents
Migration Camp has 20 luxury tents that are set into the hillside below the main guest area. Accessed by a stone staircase each has perfect views out over the bush. Not entirely private though they are spacious and very well decorated with polished wood floors and lounge area. Double doors open onto a wide deck, perfect from which to relax and enjoy the views.
En-suite bathrooms comprise double vanity basins and mirrors as well as a piping hot shower.
Guests that have mobility issues will need a room closer to the main guest area, let us know and we can make the arrangements.
