Description
Serian’s Serengeti North
Serengeti National Park
A mobile camp that follows the path and herds of the Great Migration, Serian’s Serengeti North operates from the 15th of June to the 15th of November each year. The magic of the Northern Serengeti at this time of year is the endless plains and the dangerous river crossings the animals have to make.
The camp is erected just two kilometres from the Mara River and is just minutes away from main crossing points that daily see tens of thousands of Zebra and Wildebeest brave the waters to cross and follow the new grasses. With easy access to the Lamai Wedge and the Wogakuria Kopjes there is fantastic game viewing around every bush.
Guests are encouraged to spend at least four nights in this area to fully appreciate the Migration river crossings and other wildlife the North has to offer. All guests have their own private vehicle, guide and spotter ensuring flexibility and all your safari and wildlife wishes are met.
Safari Tents
The camp has 4 tents and two suites that are erected and removed each year. Each tent is situated so that guests have full advantage of views over the plains and as the camp is not fenced wildlife often roam into camp. Lions roaring meters from the tent are not uncommon.
Each tent is very comfortably furnished with beds, fine linen and a small deck at the front for relaxation during the day. The bathrooms have a flushing toilet and bucket shower that staff will fill up for you anytime you request it.
