Motorboats or Mokoro excursions provide guests the opportunity to experience the incredible bird, plant and predator species. Game drives explore diverse habitats ensuring a wide variety of sightings from Leopard to the smaller Jackals and night drives are definitely worth a late night after dinner. Walking safaris are also offered at Shinde with knowledgeable guides who really expose the smaller creatures of the Okavango.
Situated in the Northern part of the Okavango Shinde is remote and there is plenty of ground to explore with excellent chances of rare bird species too.
Sundowners are often held on the banks of Shinde lagoon and bush dinners are a special occasion of honking hippo and elephants rustling the grass or breaking tree branches in the nearby forests. The diversity Shinde offers is fantastic, a short motorboat ride away is a huge lagoon that teems with bird life and the plains are equally rewarding for game viewing.
