Description

Singita Ebony

Sabi Sands

The first of the lodges to be built in the Singita brand, Singita Ebony lies quietly under a grove of ebony trees’ on the banks of the Sabi River. The 45 000 acre private concession is home to some of the greatest wildlife viewing South Africa can provide. Singita is known the world over for her luxurious lodges and the outstanding service her guests receive.

Accommodation

Singita Ebony now combines the concepts of tented camping with a bush lodge by making use of larger open spaces and more glass. Every suite now also has her own private plunge pool for greater intimacy in the peace of your shaded deck.

The lodge consists of 12 thatched suites that are decorated with a mix of stone and canvas in light colors. The floor to ceiling glass doors at the front of each suite lead out to a private deck and pool. The new design sees most of the old walls replaced with glass letting in much more light and space.

The new private Villa is ideal for families that are looking for their own private African safari.

Safari Activities

Morning game drives in open 4X4 vehicles are sure to set the stage for the days excitement. Here the density and diversity of wildlife will astound you. Afternoon drives extend into darkness and spot lights help reveal shy nocturnal animals.

Walking safaris are also an exciting way to discover the smaller aspects of the African bush.
