Grumeti Private Reserve

Located in the 350 000 acre private concession of Singita Grumeti, Singita Faru Faru forms part of the Serengeti Mara Ecosystem. This vast tract of land is one of incredible diversity and offers select guests a true wilderness experience in one of the greatest wildlife reserves on Earth.

Built on the banks of the Grumeti River on a gently sloping hill the lodge has the perfect location along the migration route and affords incredible displays of river crossings. Open all year round the location is well known for excellent game sightings, vast views across the Serengeti plains and beautiful accommodation.

The main guest area has been built to facilitate flow from one area to another. The main bar, dining and lounge areas are warm and inviting with comfortable couches and the library is well stocked with games, books and a television. Here you will also find a guest computer with internet access.

The two swimming pools at Faru Faru both have stunning views over the plains and there is a fitness center available for those wishing to keep in shape after all the delicious food. Children of all ages are welcome here.

Suites

There are 7 one bed-roomed suites, 1 family suite and one 2 bed-roomed suite at the lodge, the last with it’s own private swimming pool.

The suites are all spacious with a minimalist decor while still providing a wilderness themed decor and beautiful guest amenities. Concrete and wood have been cleverly combined with soft natural colors and bamboo partitions that give each suite a soft welcoming atmosphere. The private deck at the front has views out over the waterhole.

The en-suite bathrooms are lavish and very spacious with a bath tub, twin vanity basins and ample space to spread yourself out and enjoy.

How to Get There

Fly In

Fly in to Kilimanjaro International Airport with Ethiopian Airlines, Kenya Airways, KLM, Turkish Airlines, Emirates or Qatar Airways.

On your arrival you will be met by your safari representative who will assist you on to a light aircraft for your 1 hour flight to Sasakwa Airstrip. From the airstrip it’s a 45-60 minute game drive to camp.
