Grumeti Private Reserve

Singita Serengeti House is located in the Grumeti Private Reserve, a 142 000 hectare wilderness area directly in the path of the annual Wildebeest and Zebra migration route. This part of Northern Tanzania forms part of the Serengeti Mara ecosystem with a landscape that combines both grassy plains and riverine forests.

The house is located on the East slope of Sasakwa Hill and overlooks a permanent waterhole that attracts a great diversity of wildlife. An exclusive use retreat that is ideal for families and friends, the house enjoys a fantastic panoramic view over the Serengeti Plains.

The interior living spaces have been designed for relaxed easy living and include a vast kitchen, media room, a complete exercise gym that is next to the outside sala and a spa suite that adjoins the tennis pavilion. There is a 25 meter lap pool, outside fire pit for pre dinner drinks and socializing on the deck overlooking the waterhole.

The house is completed with dedicated staff that includes your own private guide and vehicle for unique flexibility in designing your days around game viewing.

Accommodation

There are two 1 bed-roomed main house suites and two 1 bed-roomed garden suites. In keeping with their ethos of sublime luxury, Singita has designed the rooms with plenty of space, warm pastels and African themes and have though of every amenity you may need while on safari.

WiFi is available, hairdryers, complimentary toiletries, robes and slippers and the most sublime en-suite bathrooms imaginable.

Children of all ages are welcome at the house and activities are tailor made to suit each family.

How to Get There

Fly In

Fly in to Kilimanjaro International Airport with Ethiopian Airlines, Kenya Airways, KLM, Turkish Airlines, Emirates or Qatar Airways.

On your arrival you will be met by your safari representative who will assist you on to a light aircraft for your 2 hour flight to Singita Sasakwa Airstrip. From the airstrip it’s a 10 minute game drive to camp.
