Description

Soroi Serengeti Lodge

Serengeti National Park

Open all year

Ideally located in the Western corridor of Serengeti National Park is the Mbali Mbali Soroi Serengeti Lodge. Set on a hill amongst granite rocks the lodge has superb views out over the endless plains of the Serengeti ecosystem. Sunsets from the lodge are especially picturesque with the plains of the Musabi coming alive with the changing colors.

Whether you’re on the main deck, at the swimming pool or sitting around the fire with a beer before dinner the views are incredible, this truly is a unique lodge. The main guest area at Soroi is a vast open area with couches and chairs scattered around, all facing towards the panorama of views.

Meals are served at individual tables but we often found that guests would join each other for meals and to discuss the days excitement. The atmosphere is warm and inviting with attentive staff that went out of their way to make each guest feel special.

Safari Rooms

Soroi Serengeti has 20 standard safari rooms and five luxury safari rooms. All have been made with locally sourced timber that brings an element of warmth to the decor. The rooms are very spacious with beautiful beds, ample seating and a magical outdoor shower that you have to try at least once!

The only difference between the standard and luxury rooms is a larger deck and more room for the couch and chairs. All the rooms have incredible views out over the plains and the deck is a great place to do some game viewing with your binoculars.

En-suite bathrooms are also spacious with beautiful guest amenities. The rooms can be converted to accommodate families traveling with children.
