Sossusvlei Lodge lies adjacent to the oldest desert in the world. The lodge offers a luxurious retreat in this very popular tourist attraction area in Namibia. Shaded by camel thorn trees, the lodge blends in perfectly with the incredibly scenic desert surrounds.

Explore the vastness of Sesriem and Sossusvlei in your own vehicle or through the adventure center based at the lodge. Guests can choose from guided dune trips to hot air ballooning. Nature drives both morning and afternoon as well as sun-downer trips. Bush dinners, archery and scenic flights are also available.

The al fresco terrace offers beautiful views of the floodlit waterhole.  The passing parade of Oryx, Springbok, Jackal, Ground Squirrel and Hyena can be enjoyed over delicious food and wine. This is a unique opportunity to dine with the wild animals of Namibia.

All chalets and suites are stand alone units that have been carefully laid out to blend in with the magnificent surrounding  environment.

The Superior Units feature a patio to enjoy the magnificent views over the desert landscapes and a spacious air-conditioned bedroom featuring twin beds. The Standard Family Units feature two rooms back to back connected by a lockable inter-leading door between the two private bathrooms. Each unit consist of a patio to enjoy views towards the mountains and an air-conditioned bedroom featuring twin beds.

The Junior Suite ensures privacy and tranquility with a fantastic view of the surrounding desert plains. The suite consists of a spacious air-conditioned bedroom with a luxurious king-size bed. How to Get There

Fly In

Fly to Windhoek, capital of Namibia with Qatar Airways, British Airways, KLM, Lufthansa, South African Airlines or Ethiopian Airlines.

On arrival your safari representative will assist you onto a light aircraft for the 1 hour flight to Sossusvlei.

Self Drive

Well maintained gravel roads exist in Namibia, however, if you are not familiar with driving on such roads extra care and travel times should be considered.

From Windhoek it is a 330 kilometer journey. Allow for an entire days travel time.
