Your safari starts in Maun, Botswana and ends in Livingstone, Zambia.

Stanley’s Safari Adventure is reminiscent of the great explorers wanderings in Africa before he discovered the Falls. From the intense wildlife of the Moremi Game Reserve to the sublime sanctuary of the banks of the Zambezi River this adventure is sure to entrance and captivate.

Explore the crystal clear lagoons and winding waterways of the Okavango by mokoro. Tiny painted Reed Frogs to the huge and impressive Hippo, the area teems with wildlife. Birding in the Delta is also extraordinary. Sanctuary Stanley’s Camp offers the perfect tented luxury accommodation that this area is famous for.

Enjoy the humbling experience of Elephant interactions here as well as morning and afternoon game drives. After two perfect days of introduction to this heaven on earth you will have a brief flight to Chief’s Camp. Your accommodation in a luxury pavillion with sumptuous luxury will see you want for nothing.

Chief’s Camp overlooks a permanent channel and from here sightings of both Black and White Rhino are possible.

Chobe Chilwero is set within the strikingly beautiful Kasane Forest Reserve. It is a sumptuous safari haven that promises spectacular game viewing opportunities and a selection of stunning suites. The honeymoon suite features a private plunge pool as well as private vehicle and guide for all game viewing activities.

To make your Stanley’s Safari Adventure complete enjoy two nights close to the Victoria Falls at Sussi and Chuma. Explore the rainforest in Victoria Falls National Park with your private guide. How to Get There

Fly in

Fly in to Maun in Botswana from a variety of different locations. Airlines that fly to Maun include South African Airways and SA Airlink.

On arrival in Maun you will be met by your safari representative and assisted onto a light aircraft for your flight to the Linyanti.

Full Itinerary

Day 1 – Stanley’s Camp

Upon arrival at Maun Airport, you will make your own way to the arrivals hall where you will be welcomed by a member of our team who will assist you onto a light aircraft. From here, you and fellow guests will be flown to Stanley’s airstrip. Your first flight over this pristine water wilderness will leave lasting impressions. Keep a look out for hippos in the waterways and elephants amongst the trees.

Unwind during your 2 night stay at Stanley’s Camp in a Tent with ensuite bathroom. Your stay includes all meals and non -alcoholic and alcoholic beverages (with exception of premium brands and Champagne), all game viewing activities (with the exception of Walking with Elephants activity).

Day 2 – Stanley’s Camp

Stanley’s Camp offers magnificent views over the floodplain and is one of the best places in the world for seeing buffalo in large numbers. This beautiful tented safari camp offers its guests the amazing opportunity to experience the magnificent variety of large mammals and the pristine surroundings of the Okavango.

Classically-styled tents are raised on wooden platforms, each featuring a private deck with hammock and Morris chairs, an ensuite bathroom and ceiling fans. The guest area offers expansive views over the surrounding floodplains and an inviting swimming pool provides a cooling retreat from the midday sun. Adventures include exhilarating twice-daily game drives on the private concession, informative guided walking safaris, gentle mokoro (dug-out canoe) safaris and a unique opportunity to interact with elephants — a definite must!

Day 3 – Chief’s Camp

Enjoy a short game drive to Stanley’s airstrip where a light aircraft will be waiting to fly you, and fellow guests, to Chief’s airstrip. Chief’s Island, the former Royal hunting ground of Chief Moremi welcomes you to explore an abundance of wilderness and wildlife.

Discover the wildlife of Chief’s Island during your 2 night stay at Chiefs Camp in a Luxury Pavillion with ensuite bathroom. Your stay includes all meals and non -alcoholic and alcoholic beverages (with exception of premium brands and Champagne), all game viewing activities (with the exception of Walking with Elephants).

Day 4 – Chief’s Camp

Surrounded by pristine wildlife and breath-taking views, Chief’s Camp is a wonderful safari retreat that successfully combines stylish accommodation with superb service. Enchanting bush pavilions boast beautiful en suite bathrooms (with indoor and alfresco showers, large bath tub and floor to ceiling windows and folding glass doors), plunge pools, spacious sitting areas, air-conditioning, free mini-bar and private verandas.

Day 5 – Chobe Chilwero

Enjoy a short game drive to Chief’s airstrip where a light aircraft will be waiting to fly you, and fellow guests, to Kasane Airport. Savour the views of the sparkling lagoons and palm tree islands as you fly over this water wonderland for one last time.

Soak up the experience during your 2 night stay at Chobe Chilwero in a Cottage with ensuite bathroom. Your stay includes all meals and non -alcoholic and alcoholic beverages(with exception of premium brands and Champagne), all game viewing activities (with the exception of Walking with Elephants).

Day 6 – Chobe Chilwero

Situated in the strikingly beautiful Kasane Forest Reserve, Chobe Chilwero is a sumptuous safari haven that promises spectacular game viewing opportunities and a selection of stunning suites. Guests can unwind in one of the air-conditioned, thatched suites, which offer guests creature comforts such as an ensuite bathroom with al fresco shower, veranda and private garden. The honeymoon suite at Chobe Chilwero features a private plunge pool and deck area, as well as a private vehicle and guide for all game viewing activities.

Day 7 – Sussi & Chuma

You will be collected from Chobe Chilwero Lodge and be driven with fellow guests to Sussi and Chuma.

Explore the sights during your 2 night stay at Sussi and Chuma in a Treehouse with ensuite bathroom. Your stay includes all meals, beverages (alcoholic or non-alcoholic with the exception of premium brands), game viewing activities,( canoeing and sundowner cruise on the Zambezi, tour of the Falls (excluding Victoria Falls Heritage Fees) , walking safaris, local village tour, and fishing), laundry services and park fees.

Day 8 – Sussi & Chuma

Sussi and Chuma is an upmarket lodge overlooking the broad Zambezi River, just upstream from the magnificent Victoria Falls. Guests are accommodated in sumptuous tree houses, built into the living canopy of giant Ebony trees lining the bank. Each unit features en suite bathrooms, mosquito nets, overhead fans, personal bars and a private viewing deck overlooking the Zambezi River. There are also two Chuma houses each with two en suite bedrooms, private lounge, dining area, plunge pool and deck available – perfect for families. Each of the houses also come with their own private chef, house staff, guide and private vehicle for activities for the duration of their stay.

Day 9 – Departure

After a mouth-watering breakfast you will be transferred by road to Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport for your outbound scheduled flight.
