Description
Sanctuary Stanley’s Camp
Okavango Delta
Sanctuary Stanley’s Camp is a classic tented camp located on a private concession in the Okavango Delta. The location offers varied game viewing as well as the unique elephant interaction.
The luxurious accommodation has been designed with sustainability in mind and to be reminiscent of the early explorer days. Sanctuary Stanley’s Camp sits within 260 000 acres of untamed African bush in the incredibly famous Okavango Delta. This is the border of the southern section of the Moremi Game Reserve.
The main guest area is a large tented lounge and dining space. And outdoor bar area affords magnificent views over the floodplain in front of the camp. Keep an eye out as Elephant amble silently past & perhaps even catch a glimpse of the rare Wild Dog.
Accommodation
Each tent suite has it’s own private deck with views over the floodplains, allowing prime game viewing from your bedroom with a freshly made cup of tea or coffee to hand. The in-room experience is enhanced with the addition of a compact gym, yoga bag a well-stocked minibar and coffee station.
Each en-suite features an indoor shower and is equipped with a hairdryer, ceiling fan and in-room safe. Wireless internet access is available in all of the rooms of the camp.
The easy, breezy central tent is the perfect place to relax on summer evenings. There is a sociable outdoor bar which has the most stunning sunsets over the floodplains.
From the rim flow swimming pool, guests can watch Giraffe and other plains game march across the savanna. This is one
of the best places in the world for seeing Buffalo in large numbers, with herds often exceeding 2,000. The camp also features a curio shop and electricity supply is a combination of silent generator and battery system.
