Three Rivers Camp
South Luangwa
Three Rivers Camp is set at the confluence of the Luangwa, Kapamba and Lusangazi Rivers in South Luangwa National Park.
Stylish tents lie under shady Sausage trees and face either the Luangwa River or the game-rich lagoon. The camp is a perfect location for secluded safaris or honeymoon couples. Relaxing in the comfortable chairs near the dining area gives sweeping views of the Luangwa and Kapamba River.
White sand bars support Hippo sleeping during the day and Crocodile basking. Delightful day beds on top of your private viewing deck are the best place for the quieter parts of the day. Giraffe, Waterbuck and many other species wander quietly past to drink at the lagoon. This area offers excellent game viewing.
Three Rivers Camp is very intimate. With just five spacious tents, each has been elegantly decorated with natural materials. Tents have large mosquito gauze windows offering extensive views of the Luangwa River and the nearby lagoon. Each tent has its own wooden deck with comfortable chairs in which to enjoy the surroundings. En-suite bathrooms include indoor and outdoor showers and double sinks. The best part of of each guest tent is the private elevated platform. This is safely connected to the tent for convenient access day and night.
Adorned with luxurious beds, the platform allows you to absorb the stunning views during the day or sleep under the stars surrounded only by the sights and sounds of the African bush. The dining lounge is discreetly set on the banks of the river with bar and lounge area. After dinner take a brandy to the fireplace and marvel at a billion stars.
