At Victoria Falls Island Treehouse Fish eagles call in the still air, Hippos wallow the river shallows and Elephants drink peacefully on the opposite bank.
The true spirit of romance is exemplified by sleeping in a four-poster bed under the African night skies. The star beds are on the roof of a double-story Treehouse suite. Island Treehouse lodge is just 10 kilometers upstream from the thunderous Victoria Falls. The island is only accessible by boat, has only four secluded Island Treehouse suites and two Star beds. The second Treehouse has just been completed and boasts the most beautiful views. The island and lodge create a very intimate atmosphere and is small enough to book exclusively as your own island hideaway. For honeymoon couples this is the absolute perfect location at the beginning or end of a safari to Africa.

How to Get There
Fly In
Fly in to Victoria Falls with either British Airways, Ethiopian Airlines, South African Airways or Kenya Airways.
On your arrival at the airport you will be met by your safari representative who will assist you with your luggage and drive you to the Island. This is a 60 minute transfer through Victoria Falls Town and some of the surrounding Zimbabwean landscape. A boat will take you the remainder of the distance to the island.
