Zambezi Expeditions
Mana Pools
Zambezi Expeditions camp has one of the most stunning settings in Mana Pools National Park. Built under the shade of several Winter Thorn and Mahogany trees’ the camp is both comfortable and classic old Africa. The atmosphere of the camp allows guests to become one and at home with the heart of the wilderness.
With the focus of Zambezi Expeditions being immersive into your surroundings and the safari experience, the accommodations are rustic yet very comfortable and service is exemplary. Staff at the camp go the extra mile to ensure your stay here is completely memorable and the guides some of the best in the world. With direct access to the river your tent looks out over the floodplains and river banks. Whether you’re tracking animals, canoeing or fishing for some Tiger fish and don’t forget the game drives into this World Heritage Site.
Tents
Six very comfortable but simple tents make this a small yet very personal camp. While the tents may seem quite compact in relation to the other camps they are spacious enough for beds and cupboards. The en-suite bathroom as accessed through a small flap at the back of the tent and has a bucket shower with hot water and washbasins.
The tents have been located on either side of an open mess tent that serves as the main guest area where you will find a small lounge area and the communal dining table. While the camp may seem rustic every effort is made to ensure your comfort and enjoyment.
