Zambia Walking Safari
Zambia is the birthplace of the infamous walking safari— one of the best ways to get up-close-and-personal with the park’s pristine wilderness. The abundance of game in South Luangwa is a breath taking treat and walking safari offers superb wildlife encounter.
Day 1 to 3
Upon arrival at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport you will be met by a member of our team who will assist you on your scheduled light aircraft to Tena Tena.
The superb Tena Tena Camp is tucked away on banks of the Luangwa River in the pristine South Luangwa National Park. With its breathtaking views of the river and a nearby waterhole, guests can experience exceptional wilderness encounters in the comfort of their beautifully-adorned tents. The tents are shaded by a towering grove of mahogany trees and include open-air ensuite bathrooms.
Refreshing sundowners in the cheerful bar area await guests after a rewarding day of game viewing. Delectable meals are served in the elegant dining room or al fresco beneath the stars, with a view of the popular waterhole. Adventures include twice-daily game drives (including night drives), walking safaris and cultural excursions to Kawaza Village.

Day 4 to 6
After a mouth watering breakfast you will embark on a game drive vehicle to Nkwali Camp. Enjoy exceptional game viewing on route. Walking safari activity can also be combined with the game drive transfer.
Nkwali Camp is sprawled on a private concession in the beautiful South Luangwa National Park. An intimate safari retreat, it offers breathtaking vistas and superb wildlife encounters. Nkwali Camp boasts stunning chalets, complete with ensuite bathrooms and a lovely view of the river.
A magnificent bar area is set on the banks of the river and is built around a giant ebony tree — offering the perfect spot to while away the afternoon whilst enjoying sinfully delicious sundowners. Mouth-watering meals are served in the thatched dining room, which overlooks a lagoon often frequented by wildlife. Guests can look forward to enthralling wildlife encounters on twice-daily game drives (including night drives) and guided walking safaris.

After breakfast you will embark on a game drive transfer from camp to Mfuwe Airport for your flight to Kenneth Kaunda International Airport.

Prices are all inclusive of accommodation, meals, activities in camp, internal flights between Lusaka and Mfuwe, local brand drinks, scheduled transfers, National Park fees’, laundry and emergency medical evacuation.
